Principal's Welcome

Welcome to GRC Peakhurst, the co-educational 7-10 Campus of the Georges River College.

Built in 1964 and originally known as Peakhurst High School, our school continues to provide quality education and extra-curricular programs for over 650 students in the Peakhurst, Lugarno and Riverwood areas south of Sydney.

In 2002, our school combined with Penshurst Girls HS, Hurstville Boys HS and the newly opened Oatley Education Centre to create Georges River College - one School, four campuses and a partnership which continues to grow in strength.

At GRC Peakhurst, we pride ourselves on our established high standards in all facets of our school - from our academic and student welfare programs, to our achievements in creative arts and the sporting arena - GRC Peakhurst is well regarded for its role as a middle school. Our school enjoys strong ties to our local community and has a supportive and active P&C Association.

At GRC Peakhurst, our experienced and committed teachers and support staff firmly believe that every student has the potential to excel and make it their priority to ensure that every student has the opportunity to do so.
